“Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.” - Luke 3:11
Pabama: (Rhymes with Alabama) Def: A feeling that there is more. A desire to make a difference, to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Not willing to accept the current state of the world, and not wishing to point any fingers. The burning desire to improve, to fall and fail, to be picked up and try again. To prepare ourselves for eternity. To stand triumphant one day, only through Jesus, and hear, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

Last weekend a young brother (David Lampman) and a friend stood out on the street corner and shared their faith.

They were so moved by the responses that they received that they decided to do it again. This time they have invited anyone who wants to join them to come along.

This is not a PABAMA event but I wanted to pass along the opportunity on Davids behalf. He created a Facebook event so you can friend him on Facebook and let him know you are coming if you want to join them.

Here is a message from David-

This weekend Saturday I had the opportunity to die to myself, and risk my own reputation for the reputation of Jesus. Although it isn't up to us, and he doesn't need us, God uses us, calling us the hands and feet of Jesus to point other to him and his glory. What started out as a friendly dare between a brother and sister in Christ, eventually became many honks and revs for Jesus Christ. We also experienced a smidgen of persecution for our beliefs, but we love it and pray for those who persecute us, that they will eventually come to realize that they need a savior, just as we have.

We are inviting Christians to get involved next Saturday. We need people of all kinds, deep in their faith, to apply Romans 1:16 to their lives. Romans 1:16 is when Paul tells us that we need not be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, because in it is the very power of what we live for. If you are looking for an opportunity to serve Christ without any strings attached, please consider doing this. We all have comfort zones, but often they hinder us from spiritual development.

If you are interested, we are seeking at least 38 other followers of Jesus to make their own unique sign using cardboard, paint and markers, to stand at every island of the highway and every corner of Grand Haven side streets with their signs, pointing traffic to Christ.

We saw children wonder, troubled adults start to think, distracted teens remember, and the elderly holding their thumbs in the air.

I hope you will all join us, rain or shine.
