“Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.” - Luke 3:11
Pabama: (Rhymes with Alabama) Def: A feeling that there is more. A desire to make a difference, to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Not willing to accept the current state of the world, and not wishing to point any fingers. The burning desire to improve, to fall and fail, to be picked up and try again. To prepare ourselves for eternity. To stand triumphant one day, only through Jesus, and hear, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

Family Challenge #12

How's life treating you?  Now, THAT is a loaded question.  Especially if you keep God's entire global creation in mind.  Just examine your life closely and be Thankful (even if it is not Thanksgiving!?!).

With all of the busyness of life at this time of year, it is easy to get caught up with all sorts of well-meaning "stuff".  One big focus for many is family.  But let's not forget that some people have no family.  Maybe they are forgotten and alone.  Let's bring some Holiday Cheer to someone in a nursing home this week.

If you or your family has a loved one in a medical facility, remind them of God's love, and yours!  If you do not, then this is a great opportunity to share some anonymous cards / pictures, etc. with someone that needs it.  If your family feels up to it, then maybe a plethora of cards would do the trick for a multitude of individuals, or maybe even pair up with another family or 2 to ensure that all those at a particular care place feel loved.
