The September Pabama! run recap:
- A woman, E, very recently recognized a need to turn her life around. Wonderfully, she was able to move into a local 'shelter' just before our run.
- Drop: Since 9 men coming to a woman's shelter at night did not seem appropriate, we gathered the loot* and gave it to Herm. Herm & Rodney dropped it off the next day, were able to meet some ladies, and learned that E had a great lead on a job, one of the things we prayed for.
- *Loot = Harbor Transit cards, gift cards, vase w/
flowers, M&M's & the Signature $10 bag of Wesco popcorn. Pabama!
- Highlights: Ryan DuBois, first time - welcome!!! 9 men praying in Meijers. (Don't get your panties in a bunch, it's not for show, but quietly showing what we believe is important). and finally DuBois' strange: White Chocoloate, Candy Corn M&M's . . . . I still don't really know what they are, I have never had anything like them, but they were good!
God, use or efforts for your glory. It's not about us, but about you. Help E to feel your love, help her to find a job, and get on her feet as you lead her heart toward you. God, you rock!!!
