“Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.” - Luke 3:11
Pabama: (Rhymes with Alabama) Def: A feeling that there is more. A desire to make a difference, to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Not willing to accept the current state of the world, and not wishing to point any fingers. The burning desire to improve, to fall and fail, to be picked up and try again. To prepare ourselves for eternity. To stand triumphant one day, only through Jesus, and hear, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

Family Challenge #10

What beauty God has made for us!  I am looking out at the wonderful sunshine, the amazingly colorful leaves and plants, my nice green lawn that got mowed yesterday so I don't need to do it again for a while......

God is good!  (Hopefully you are saying aloud, or at least thinking "All the Time!).

There is no possible way that I can thank him enough for the beauty of creation, the wonder that is my kids' voices and laughter as they are playing (nicely) downstairs right now, the most important fact that he sent his own son to die for me.

One way to thank God is to shine for him (sang it in church today - "Don't let satan blow it out!  I'm gonna let it shine!").  Let's shine this week for someone that may be feeling lonely.  There are many who have lost loved ones recently, or perhaps many years ago.  I am thinking specifically of those who may have lost a spouse, but if your children bring up the name of someone else, then Praise God for your kids!  Go with it!

God wants to do something.    If you wonder what God's plan is for this world, click here.  Seriously, click that blue word.  Come on, you know you are wondering what God has done to help fix things in this world.  Click it, and then do something.
