“Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.” - Luke 3:11
Pabama: (Rhymes with Alabama) Def: A feeling that there is more. A desire to make a difference, to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Not willing to accept the current state of the world, and not wishing to point any fingers. The burning desire to improve, to fall and fail, to be picked up and try again. To prepare ourselves for eternity. To stand triumphant one day, only through Jesus, and hear, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

Family Challenge #9

Let's get back in the game, shall we?  It's time for another Family Challenge - Pabama style.  And not only do I challenge you to the challenge, but I challenge you to challenge yourself to a higher challenge!  As you do a random act of kindness for someone this week, bathe them in prayer every night at the dinner table with the kids.

For this new challenge, let's do something nice for a completely random stranger.  It is no doubt a wonderful thing when you share God's love for a friend of yours, lifting them up in prayer.  But I think we have all seen the POWER that Jesus can work when we don't have a specific plan.  So push the family to color those pictures, make those cookies, write down those Bible verses, etc etc etc, and certainly pray for God to use us to make someone feel loved.

Oh yeah, and maybe we should continue to talk to our kids about being careful with strangers.....
